Many of our students are mature individuals coming to us after a hiatus in their practice; and, we are adept at helping them resume their training. It does not matter which style they followed before. We also offer Beginners Karate Courses a couple of times a year; please see our schedule for the next one.
Our concern is your health and helping you become a stronger person through self mastery. Consequently, we emphasize self-knowledge, self-improvement, and self-control. We will improve your level of fitness by gradual, consistent exercise; and, then demonstrate your progress with a monthly physical development review. This success will motivate you to extend your personal boundaries.
You will begin by learning basic techniques such as stances, blocks, punches and kicks. Repetitive practice will allow you to master the basics and prepare you for more difficult and complex skills.
